Rant
Two posts in one week...I know how crazy. This post is more of a rant than anything else. I've been trying to be patient, but my patience got the better of me. I've messaged medical through the medical portal on Monday and never got a response. I've tried calling Peace Corps for the last few days and nothing. So today I decided when I call I was going to talk to someone. I called and talk to the operator who transferred me to placement. Placement said they can't do anything because I haven't been medically pre-cleared. The last time I submitted something to medical was back in mid-August. I don't understand why I'm still waiting for pre-clearance. So I tried calling medical and no one answered, so I left a message. After I left a message, I then got back on my medical portal and left a message there. So with nothing left for me to do, I am so upset and angry. Since I haven't been medically pre-cleared I was told by placement that this will push my nomination/departure date back. So that made my day, NOT!!! I just want to cry, because there is nothing I can do right now until someone gets back to me.
Everyone keeps asking if I've heard anything, well, the answer is NO! So stop asking, I'll let everyone know when I hear something. It makes me more upset when people consistently ask. because I have nothing new to say, when I wish I did.
Well, this was my rant. Hoping to hear from medical within the next 2 days. Then from placement shortly afterward.

Dream
Last week I had a dream that I received my invitation. The funny thing is I was invited to Peru, however Peru was south or Malawi, which was south of China. So all three countries were located in Asia. Since the only county mention (Peru, Malawi and China) that is in Asia is China. I don't think this will happen. I though I might receive my invite the day I had the dream, but I am still waiting. I'm to the point I just want to cry, because its become so irritating, the not knowing. I'm still trying to be patient, but with my COI in a matter of days, my patience is coming to an end. OH, I forgot to mention, the three countries I listed above all have departures in June. So who knows, I may end up in one of those countries after all. Wish me luck! :)

The closer it gets to my COI the more nervous I get. I had a dream the other night that I got an invite to Peru, however Peru was located just south of Malawi, which was south of China. What a crazy dream. I thought the night I had the dream would be the day I got my invite, but no it didn't happen. I continue to read blogs and look at peacecorpswiki.com, but there isn't much new there. July invites are starting to trickle out, which scares me. In less than a week I should know or at least that's what I've been told. So until then, everything is still up in the air.
I did learn new information about Public Service Loan Forgiveness. I'm liking what I found out also. I will be able to use my service in the Peace Corps towards the 120 payments. Also, early child education is a public service, so that's another plus for me. Now I have to fill out paperwork, have my current employer fill out paperwork then send it in. Then hope I qualify for PSLF.
